2024 Ford Bronco Automakers usually tend to give their models no more than five years before they come out with new changes and updates, so rumors that the Ford Bronco is set to get a refresh for the 2024 model aren’t all that surprising.
The Ford Authority recently reported that an unnamed source claimed the Bronco refresh was originally slated for the 2025 model but has now been moved to the 2024 model year instead.
There’s no word on what this refresh will look like, if it’s just a minor display change or if there will be something more substantial to it. Since Ford hasn’t confirmed a refresh at all, we won’t know the details until later.
Refreshments in models don’t usually equal redesigns, so the 2024 Bronco may have some of the same features as the current 2021 model, which is quite popular, or the upcoming 2022 Bronco.
Some of the latest updates that Ford has given to its newest model also include those that will likely be found in the highly anticipated Bronco Raptor, which is a more off-road version of the regular Bronco.
These features and updates include a more capable front bumper and an available roof rack as well as an optional manual transmission for the Broncos equipped with the Sasquatch package.
There are also rumors that the engine for the Bronco Raptor may be a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 and may be equipped with Fox shocks. We’re not sure if any of that will translate to the Bronco 2024, but it’s a possibility.
Recently, Ford CEO Jim Farley seemed to hint that an electric Bronco was also in the works, but we have no further information on that for now.
2024 Ford Bronco Review

A new Capable front bumper, roof rack for the four-door Broncos outfitted with the Sasquatch package, and a new model — possibly called the Everglades — complete the additions for the 2022 model year, while Wildtrak will downgrade its standard MIC hardtop for a soft top.
Looking further ahead, the Bronco will soon be available in other parts of the world, including the Middle East and possibly Europe, although it will likely not be available as a right-hand drive model.
Ford CEO Jim Farley also recently hinted that an all-electric Bronco might be in the works, which isn’t a big surprise given the fact that the automaker is investing heavily in EVs and plans to convert its entire North American product lineup to electric power.
